How Do You Feel?

Which emotion are you feeling right now?

  • Explain why you think you are feeling that emotion?

  • Think about how your body is responding to that emotion? (sweating, increase heartbeat, does your stomach hurt, is your body constantly moving, does your body not feel like moving?)

Feelings In My Head

  • Throughout the day, notice how you are feeling and label it with an emotion.

  • Then discuss how you feel each emotion differently or the same.

  • If able, draw a picture of your head and write down each emotion you felt for the day. This will be helpful for you to keep track of how often you feel certain emotions and how you feel those emotions.

Where Do I Feel My Emotions?

  • The first week, you were able to color in where you felt the 4 emotions (sad, happy, worry and anger) in your body.

  • For example: worry-my stomach hurts so I colored in my     stomach area.

  •  Since then you have been able expand your emotions vocabulary and learn about how you feel those emotions.

  • Take a look at your picture and color in the area of where you feel any additional emotions.

*By practicing identifying your emotions, how you feel them and where you feel them; you will understand how to cope with your emotions better.
